I dont know much about marvel sadly, but if it's DC, we can do a crisis of infinite earth to kill the multiverse... not sure if marvel have something similar... that said, i'm with you... deadpool and wolverine is the 1st marvel movie i watched since end game... and it's really fun movie... you can just feel the love and passion ryan reynold put into it...

I think the reason she treats everyone so bad is because later we find out she is the who caused Qimir to the dark side, but it's like some much in this show, reveal it too early and the audience doesn't care any more

For me the movie is a 6/10 not every joke works the action is great but it was a bit to long and your point hits it on the head there was no meaning in it the multivers destroyed it everything and everybody can be replaced nothing is finale anymore it is like rick & morty

I think you have missed the point of the film. Deadpool has the opportunity to 'matter' by moving to the main time line, but in the end his own little universe of family matters more to him than being in the main time line

I was amongst the followers that were around when that dude sent a sabre for a re-editted fight. (I even watched the training videos and bought merch!) I wondered then how the hell you were going to pull that off and I was intrigued even though I thought the guy was asking the impossible. I understood when the fight didn't happen. I even wondered if Steven got hurt doing all those back flips and the whole thing was shelved and I didn't think it respectful to ask what happened just in case it was BAD! You have to admit there were a hell of a lot of people backing you up and cheering you on as I was one of them. That being said, there were quite a lot of assholes demanding this and that and I agree, it was too much. I have to ask, though.... why did the Book Of Boba Fett edit fall through? Anyway, to cut to the chase, I'm glad you're back doing re-edits and look forward to the videos and updates again, just like old times.

I'm sorry boys, but there were never stakes. There was never a conclusion to the story and the deaths were never meant to matter any farther than their associated film or universe. That's the first point. The second point is that every Marvel character has a plethora of comic runs that operate independently from each other- there's an actual multiverse these characters exist in anyway. As much as I enjoyed the Fox Marvel movies, they dropped the ball plenty themselves. The Deadpool movies were never meant to be high brow cinema, nor did they exist in a vacuum. Deadpool was always a black hole of pop culture references and goofing off. Anybody complaining there's nothing at stake here or that it's not self-contained is watching it for the wrong reasons.

I don't like the multiverse concept. We're getting years of experimental woke content all under the guise of multiverse. The fans are tired and more and more are falling off the bandwagon. However, I enjoyed the Deadpool & wolverine movie. As a normie, I thought the movie was fun.

Its a DP film; it really has no plot. The plot was to shit on the rat & in that it was successful.

I totally get what you’re saying about the Marvel multiverse and I agree with you about it but Deadpool shouldn’t really be taken that seriously. It’s just fun and it’s not going to matter to the rest of the Marvel films. It’s just Ryan Reynolds messing around and I’m ok with that. If they actually put Deadpool in other films that aren’t his own though that’s when it will be a problem and not work.

I still have the edit on a USB. And even without the fight at the end that you said you would make, is still a great edit. And I feel it’s better this way. Shows Luke’s power and he doesn’t die. He will not be the last Jedi. And Rise of Skywalker doesn’t exist lol.

We need a law against using multiverses.

Stakes are essential and, unfortunately, often neglected. I think the multiverse is just here for what the comic readers know as a “RET CON.” As an example, I just watched all three animated movies for DC’s “CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS,” and it made me think of MARVEL and their “multiverse.” Between both DC and MARVEL, it really feels like we're getting::drum 🥁🥁🥁 roll:: RET CON, RET CON RET CON!! While there may be truth to the statement that some users can be quite abrasive in the comments, the way you talk about those is a different thing. For one, I don't care what other's comments exhibit politeness or lack thereof. Secondly, right now, I did not encounter rudeness from the comments but from yourself! These bitchers and moaners are probably liberal and were probably not Star Wars fans prior to Disney purchasing it and turning it into a pile of crap. If you don't like Ivan's re-edits, then don't watch his videos. It's that simple. No need for death threats. Everyone knows most of the Disney Star Wars releases are very bad. Visually, the movies are great, but the characters and stories, you know, the meat of most good movies or TV series, are total crap!!!!

I'll admit I'm not interested in Acolyte, I hope you do have an audience for that. The thing I would like to see most which I've mentioned before is: Take many of the fan films and mix them into the movies. Work with your viewers to pick what clips should be mixed in. I would love to see that, but that's me.

I have never watched The Acolyte due to all of the step-by-step, in-depth reviews relaying the travesty it is. However, I am watching what you are doing because even if you never finish The Acolyte, what you are doing is extremely interesting. Your commentary, your process, the sharing of your thoughts. Even though you did not finish the re-edit of Solo, I appreciate and enjoy the changes you did make. Solo left a bad taste in my mouth. You helped alleviate the extreme disappointment that movie was. So, again, if you never finish The Acolyte, I do not care because I am enjoying the process. And I appreciate your time and effort.

You aren't just editing. You are instructing Lucasfilm's editors how to make good content. Excellent deductions. I have a feeling you're going to be taking out a lot of Osha/Mae's dialogue. She's not a great actress, a lot of times it is better that she's quiet...

WTF...you did finish it. The Last Jedi. Dude. I felt so bad for you--you were doing a TON to give everyone what they wanted. Oh. You just said that in the video. I was irritated with your audience in that I don't think they realized that you were doing all of it for free. You already had your job, and then coming home to do more editing...I kept thinking you'd get burnt out. I thought you'd left RUclips because of the Last Jedi edit. Ah...I'm getting ahead of your video. I really like seeing your thought process and the results from it. You've got true talent for editing, it is still my hope that when Lucasfilm comes under new management they'll find what you've done and hire you. (Under new management, when it's owned by sane people again.) I look forward to your Acolyte edit. If it's anything like the Last Jedi--I had NO IDEA you could recreate it into something decent.
